Job Description:
About STRIDE Fitness
STRIDE Fitness delivers a full-body cardio and strength experience built to move fast and hit hard. Our 55-minute high-intensity classes combine treadmill intervals with floor-based strength training to create an efficient, results-driven workout for every fitness level. Coaches guide, motivate, and adjust for individual needs while keeping the energy high.
At STRIDE Fitness, community and connection matter just as much as the workout. Our coaches are motivators, educators, and the heartbeat of the studio.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, high-energy Certified Personal Trainer with strong group fitness coaching experience to lead our signature split-room classes. Each class includes half the members on treadmills and half on the strength floor, with the coach managing both sides simultaneously.
The ideal coach thrives in a high-energy, music-driven environment, connects easily with people, and motivates both new and experienced members. You’ll inspire members to push past limits, convert first-timers into loyal members, and represent the STRIDE Fitness brand both inside and outside the studio.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver 55-minute high-intensity classes combining treadmill-based cardio and floor-based strength training
• Manage and motivate both sides of the room simultaneously
• Provide clear, confident cueing in a loud, music-filled environment
• Offer progressions and modifications for multiple fitness levels
• Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members
• Build strong member relationships and use names consistently
• Support membership growth by creating excitement and demonstrating value
• Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and high energy
• Participate in STRIDE Fitness events, challenges, and community initiatives
Required Qualifications
• Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, NSCA, etc.), active and in good standing
• Group fitness coaching experience in a studio, gym, or athletic environment
• Strong public speaking skills with the ability to project clarity and energy
• CPR/AED certification preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Must live within a 30-minute commute
